About This File

This is a modified version of SAM that removes dependencies on scripts and .esp to allow the genitals to show when fully nude by resizing and placing the genital texture on the body texture layout.  As a result, body morphs are not supported.  It's a basic body replacer along the same lines as Better Males and SOS Light.  Compatible with classic Skyrim and Special Edition.

This mod is not an official release of SAM.  Therefore, if you encounter any issues with it, please do not contact Vector about them.

Difference between full SAM

  • Lightweight due to no scripts or .esp used
  • No body morphs*
  • No dynamic body type and genital adjustments
  • No dynamic body texture options
  • Revealing armor with "SAMRevealing" node not supported
  • Werewolf and Vampire Lord not supported

*morph functionality can be added with SAM Morphs for RaceMenu

Installation

If using a mod manager, just follow the installer.

Manual installation

  • 00 and 01 are required for core functionality.
  • 02 Genital Option - Select between Cut, Uncut, or Underwear (non-nude) version
  • 03 Human Body Texture - Select one body texture for human races
  • 04 Khajiit Body Texture - Select one body texture for Khajiit race

Custom Textures

If you'd like to use your own body textures, use the layout template to resize and align the genital correctly.
Base texture 2k, resize genital texture to 256x256
Base texture 4k, resize genital texture to 512x512
Align genital texture in the green box, create selection mask with the green color, and delete the selection.

Due to genital texture resizing, minor texture seams may be visible.

Regarding Refits

Armor refits are not required for basic functionality.  They're only needed if you use SAM Morphs for RaceMenu and want the morph features.

Is SAM light supposed to have sliders labelled SOS? I have a tab in the racemenu under 'genitals' with a ton of sliders named things like 'SOS Genitals 1', 'SOS Genitals Scrotum' and so on, and they seem to be the only things that can actually change the SAM body dick, which the sliders in the SAM body tab won't actually do. If this shouldn't be happening at all it must be a mod conflict that I'll try to figure out, but I don't have SAM or any SAM related mods installed, so that'd be very strange!

I suppose you'll need to install Sam Morphs for Racemenu as well as XPMS(S)E, in addition to Racemenu (and SAM Light itself), to make these sliders under SAMBODY function correctly. Also make sure to check whether the skeleton .nif file of XPMS(S)E overwrite SAM's original skeleton, not vice versa (the opposite).  In order to make use of Racemenu and its sliders to full extent, the original skeleton of SAM and SAM Light is not enough.

I have all of these, and I think they're installed correctly. I'm on SE though which is why I'm using SAM light. The overwrites appear to be correct too. I'm mostly just confused as to where these SOS labels are coming from in the first place.

SoS labels of the sliders comes from the (additional) genital 'bones'  for the animation that had originally added to SoS's and SAM's skeleton. 

Is there any slider in SAMBODY like even Samson and Samuel that does actually works for your environment?

They [sliders under SAMBODY] are primarily based on the morphs, not directly dealing with the skeleton. 

If none of them did not works, it probably means that the type of body mesh and .tri file in Sam morphs are perhaps not exactly matching for some messes in course of installation.

@Vallation  SAM Light doesn't include any scripts or .esp.  The SOS Genital sliders are added by XPMSE's RaceMenu plugin which I don't personally use.  There are 2 sets of genital sliders on the SAM Body tab in RaceMenu: one uses morphs while the other uses skeleton scaling.  They both achieve the same thing, but I created the morphs to allow genital size changes in BodyGen.

      I removed most of the meshes because I like skimpy stuff, if you use extreme Samson/Samuel the feathers in the back can get messed up. The armor will not count within the body slot, so you'll be able to use it with other armors or thongs freely, that also means that using only the armor without a thong will let your character naked, the armor uses slot 46. The thong used in the screenshots does not come with the mod, it's from Kreis' Armors of Fantasia.
      You can get the armor trough the AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer.
       
      Requirements:
      SAM High Poly Conversion - for HP body (hard requirement)
      HDT BBB Bounce for SAM - for body physics (optional)
       
      Install/Uninstall:
      Use your mod manager or just drop the files into Skyrim Special Edition/Data
      To uninstall just remove the files, it shouldn't affect your game at all since it's just an outfit, just make sure to unequip it before removing the mod.
       
      Known Issues:

      About this mod:
      I was trying to find something that wasn't too much complicated to refit and that it looked good, then I came across this. Made using HDT-BBB and HP body.
      I removed the top part and the feathers because I felt that they cluttered more than actually helped, the amulet I didn't refit because I'm new to this and don't know how to refit accessories to a different body shape without breaking the meshes and the gloves didn't look good so they weren't reffited.
      There's the normal version of the outfit and the transparent one, just know that the genitalia will only be covered in the normal version, but it'll still be there, and the transparent version, well I guess the name says it all.
      You can get the armor trough the AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer or by finding it in game in the Hall of Dead in Windhelm.
       
      Requirements:
      DX Necromancer Robes - UNP  - for original textures, then overwrite it with my meshes and .esp (hard requirement)
      SAM High Poly Conversion - for HP body (hard requirement)
      HDT BBB Bounce for SAM - for body physics (hard requirement)
      DX Staff of Necromancy - SE - for playable staff (optional)
       
      Install/Uninstall:
      Use your mod manager or just drop the files into Skyrim Special Edition/Data - and overwrite all files.
      To uninstall just remove the files, it shouldn't affect your game at all since it's just an outfit, just make sure to unequip it before removing the mod.
       
      Known Issues:
      - The skulls in the side of the outfit may change its shape depending in how much Samsom/Samuel you use.
      - There's minor clipping with the mask that I couldn't find a way to fix it.
      - The penis will clip trough the vest if it's way too long (like literally a horse cock don't ask me how I found out about this)
      - I haven't tested without the HP body or the HDT physics, so test it at your own risk, the worst that could happen is not looking exactly like in the pictures.
