Giant guards for a giant world.
Super Sized Guards is a simple mod that increases the scale of all male guards in the game, deepens their voices, and removes their armor (Maintaining and adding helmet variety). It also increases guard health and stamina in accordance to their increased size. I made this mod to mainly complement growth/giant/macro mods - if growth magic existed, of course guards would use it to get massive! Of course, it can still be used independently if you wish. This mod works in both LE and SE.
The mod comes in six versions:
XL - Minimum size 1.5x, max 3.5x. Guards have their outfits (excluding helmets and shields) removed. Guards are a fair amount more powerful.
XXL - Min 2.5, max 4.5. Guards have their outfits (excluding helmets and shields) removed. Guards are a fair amount more powerful.
XXXL - Min 3.5, max 6. Guards have their outfits (excluding helmets and shields) removed. Guards are much more powerful.
4XL - Min 6.5, max 8.5. Guards have their outfits (excluding helmets and shields) removed. Guards are extremely powerful- you may not win any fights with them.
5XL - Min 9.25, max 10. Guards have their outfits (excluding helmets and shields) removed. Guards are unbelievably powerful. Bow down to your new gods.
Author's Pick - My personal favorite, which has a variety of sizes from 1.5x all the way to 7x.
GiantSounds - An optional addon which will add giant sounds to all guards (mainly breathing).
Guard Fixes - Removes some canopies, shifts around guard posts to reduce frequent clipping and teleporting. Areas affected: Whiterun Exterior, Markarth Exterior, Whiterun Entrance, Blue Palace, Riften Entrance & Courtyard.
UltimateDeepVoice - Deepens the guards' voices about as deep as they can go. They'll rumble like volcanoes.
-Does not work on old saves. Please start a new save.
-Scales can override each other if multiple versions are installed.
-Guards occasionally clip/vanish at XXL+ sizes.
-Clipping occurs in watchtowers and some interior areas. (FIXED With Guard Fixes plug-in!)
-Some guards with unique dialogues still keep default size.
-Compatible with SAM, SOS, etc, and all other skeleton and mesh mods. This mod only changes scaling and audio.
-Immersive Citizens can override guard outfits. Please place SuperSizedGuards.esp AFTER it.
-Mods such as Cloaks of Skyrim will still add cloaks to guards. Personally, I like that.
-Audio may be overridden by other audio-altering mods.
-Mods that make city spaces more dense (JK's Skyrim, COTN, Great Cities, etc) will likely cause guards to clip, vanish and teleport more frequently.
This mod can either be manually installed, or installed using NMM or MO2.
