[Guide] texconv_ batch DDS to LE or SE tool

Recommended Posts

https://github.com/Microsoft/DirectXTex/releases

I have made several BAT files, which can be executed as needed.
After downloading, unzip it to drive D (if you do n’t unzip it to drive D, there is no way to use it. If you want to put it where you want, modify it to your drive location)

texconv.7z

After decompression, you will find that there is a texconv directory on the D drive, and the other pictures are as follows:

01.jpg.8d5deced01e8bfa2fcd69a8cc77b4975.jpg

Put the DDS texture you need to convert to folder 1, and then double-click the bat file as needed, and the DDS file you want will be generated in folder 2.

texconv_BC7.bat
The generated DDS file is in BC7 format

texconv_DXT1.bat
The generated DDS file is in DXT1 format

texconv_DXT5.bat
The generated DDS file is in DXT5 format

texconv_R8G8B8A8.bat
The generated DDS file is R8G8B8A8 format (uncompressed format)

I am not sure.
But I can use it after conversion.
texconv has always been updated.
Just need to replace texconv.exe
You can try it out.
